DAILY SCHEDULE 
                                           


 Children feel secure in an environment where they know what
 to expect, following a routine is a foundational part of my program.
 The daily schedule is planned to provide a balance of educationally
 developmental activities each day.

 Physical development, large and small motor skills
 Social/emotional development, 
 Language/literature and reading skills
 Math & science projects
 Music & movement activities 

 8:00   Arrival- Sign in
          Free choice by children of manipulatives, dramatic play, puzzles,
          blocks, centers
 9:00   Clean-up-Prepare for circle time
          Circle time
 9:30 Snack time
          Children help to prepare, set up for and clean up after snack
 9:45 Outside time
          Free choice of bikes, sand/water play, easel painting, play dough,
          or table games 
 10:15 Work time
           Planned work on alphabet, math, science or art
 11:15 Music & Movement
          Teacher lead singing, instruments, dancing, parachute or other
          active games
 12:00 Pick-up & Sign out
